84. Miners Wives
“84” was the culmination of a year long oral history project initially funded by HLF and supported by A.C.E. One For All Productions interviewed 23 Women across the north east . These filmed interviews held by North East Film Archive were used to create Verbatim Theatre toured around the North East coalfield communities.

Women’s Aid Newcastle
Since 1975 Newcastle Women’s Aid have provided a range of special domestic abuse services supporting women and children in the North-East of England. Helping them to achieve and maintain positive change.
